Staff Profile

Chinenye Blessing AMAONYE is an educationist, administrator, economist and a writer. She obtained her first degree from Federal University of Calabar. She also holds M.Ed. from Nnamdi Azikiwe Federal University, Awka and currently in a PhD programme from the same university. She has published articles in local and international journals. She has over 10 published books. She has written many literary books which include:  â€˜Rising Sun’,  â€˜The Uneasy Path’, Sisters’, and Silent Rhythm. She hails from Ekwulobia in Aguata LGA. She was a Correspondent of Campus Life, The Nation Newspaper, Nigeria. She founded Chasfel Digest and was a former Editor-in-Chief. She was the winner of Amateur Writers’ Award (AWA) 2010. She is happily married with four children.
