Dr. Okafor Ekene Godfrey is a Lecturer I in the Department of Mass Communication at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is widely published. His area of specialty is New media, journalism, and media studies. He is also a good writer and researcher. He has made significant contributions to the field of media studies, particularly in new media, journalism, and communication research.
Dr. Okafor earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in New Media from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in March 2022. Prior to this, he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mass Communication with a focus on Print Media in May 2014, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mass Communication in October 2010. His academic journey reflects a deep commitment to understanding the evolving landscape of media and communication.
Dr. Okafor's research interests encompass electronic communication, new media, journalism, and media studies. He has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly articles, book chapters, and conference papers that explore various facets of media and communication.
