Okpala, Okemefuna Micheal, Ph.D., is a practicing clinical psychologist and lecturer at Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is a member of Nigerian Psychological Association and National Association of Clinical Psychologists. He specializes in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioural and mental health problems. His research interest includes, among others, identifying psychological factors predisposing, maintaining or perpetuating behavioural and mental health problems, and factors which can see to their effective treatment via evidence based psychotherapy. He is a lover of education, a good team player, and down to earth. He is full of determination and resilience, and exudes with joviality.
