Ifeoma Vivian Dunu, is a Professor in the department of Mass Communication, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka , Anambra State, Nigeria. Professor Dunu, specializes in Electronic Communication/ Broadcasting and PRAD. She has served as Head of Department of Mass Communication and is currently the Director of UNIZIK 94.1 FM the University Campus Radio Station. For the past four years, she has successfully held the position of Chair, of the famous Annual Zik’s Lecture Series, the leading academic event of the University, making her the first Female Professor to have served in this capacity. Professor Dunu, holds a Doctorate degree in Mass Communication from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Her research interests are broadcasting and Media Studies, Gender Studies, New Media, Public Relations and Media Literacy. She is an avid researcher and has consulted widely for a number of International Donor Agencies .She has authored many books and has a wide range of articles in both local and International journals on various areas of Media studies and Communication. She also belongs to many reputable professional bodies of Media & Communication.
