Michael Onyeka Ezenwa, P.hD, is a professor of Clinical Psychology with special interest in addiction science, relapse prevention and psychotherapy. He is a Fellow of Nigerian Psychological Association which he lead as the National President from, 2017 to 2021. His tenure witnessed the passage of the bill for an act to establish the Nigerian Council for Psychologists by The National Assembly as well as the approval of a Scheme of Service for Psychologists in Nigeria. A Fellow of Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists, Professor Ezenwa has done major contributions to research in psychology and health, training and supervision of many younger colleagues and the development of the discipline of psychology in Nigeria. He has represented the discipline of psychology in Nigeria at many international fora including Global Psychology Alliance, International Union of Psychological Science and Pan African Psychology Union. Professor Michael Ezenwa is the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences of Nnamdi Azikiwe University from 11th March, 2025 to March, 10th 2027.
