My research focuses on exploring the phytochemical, antimicrobial, and fungicidal properties of plants to address challenges in agriculture, food safety, and public health. I investigate plant-based bioactive compounds, their extraction methods, and potential applications in controlling seed-borne pathogens, postharvest spoilage, and microbial contaminants. Through multidisciplinary approaches, I have examined the effects of plant extracts on fungi, bacteria, and nutritional content across diverse matrices. My goal is to contribute to sustainable agricultural practices, natural product development, and improved food quality. I am committed to advancing plant science through collaborative, policy-relevant research that bridges botany, microbiology, and biotechnology.
