Dr Anthony Ajana Uzodigwe is a dedicated Lecturer /Researcher in the Department of Economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he has contributed to academia since 2020. He holds a PhD in Economics (2024) and an M.Sc. in Economics (Distinction, 2016) from the same institution. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, UK, sponsored by the Kuhne Foundation.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Uzodigwe specializes in macroeconomic issues, public debt dynamics, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development. His scholarly output includes a book, Terms of Trade Shocks and Macroeconomic Performance (2017), 12 book chapters in the Economics Study Manual (JUPEB, 2018), and over 15 peer-reviewed journal articles addressing topics such as inflation-growth linkages, health expenditure impacts on poverty, and COVID-19’s effect on SMEs. He has presented at major conferences, including the Nigerian Economic Society Annual Conference and the NAEE/IAEE International Conference.
