Professional Summary: A Clinical Pharmacist of over 28 years career experience in frontline healthcare delivery in a University Teaching Hospital. Highly motivated to optimize patients’ therapeutic outcomes and safety through systematic Pharmaceutical care, patients’ engagement and Pharmacovigilance. Logistics management information system; medication adherence counselling; experiential training; and healthcare research with competencies in Microsoft Suite, SPSS, STATA applications. Research Experience: I have participated in several research in-country as a research focal person for the Nigeria national study on Pre-exposure prophylaxis, (Pre-EP Study) on use Truvada® as treatment for prevention of HIV transmission among HIV sero-discordant couples; the principal investigator in the Patient Safety Research Small grant in WHO-funded Nigeria: coded (PS09035), 2009 - 2010 cohort; the Secretary of the Research Society, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. I have also participated in international collaborative research on: Building capacity in evidence-based medicine in low-income and middle-income countries: problems and potential solutions.
