Dr. Regina Ijeamasi Enebechi was born on 3rd July, 1969 to the family of Mr. and Mrs Gabriel Ezewuzie Igwegbu of Imama Akama Oghe, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State. She is happily married to Engr, Anthony Ani Enebechi of Uwani Umudioha Imezi-Owa, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State. She attended National Primary School Amokwe (1973-1978) and Girls High School Amokwe(1978-1984), ojebeogene Teacher Training College Okpatu (1985-1987) all in Udi Local Government Area, Nigeria Certificate in Education majoring in Biology/ integrated Science (1987-1991) at Anambra State College of Education, Awka. She got her Bachelor’s degree in Science Education/Biology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1994, M.Sc (Ed) Science Education/ Biology and Ph.D (Science Education/Biology) from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2009 and 2016 respectively.
Regina ijeamasi Enebechi was employed as a Science teacher by the Enugu State Education Commission. She taught (Biology and Integrated Science in Secondary Schools from 1992- 1996 and 2012 to 2020. She equally taught in Bauchi State College of Education Azare (1997-2002) as lecturer in the department of Integrated science. In addition, she taught in Jewel Model Secondary School, Kubwa Abuja (2002-Jan 2009) where she rose from Biology Class teacher to head Science Dept. She later became Vice Principal (Academics) and finally Principal between January 2002 to 2009. Dr. Regina Ijeamasi Enebechi worked at the Godfrey Okoye University/Institute of Ecumenical Education as a lecturer in Biology Education. She held many administrative positions which included Dean School of Science, Director Quality Assurance Unit of the Institute between January 2013 to 2020. She joined Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in Jaunary, 2020
She has many articles published in reputable Journals. She is a Fellow Corporate Administrative Institute (FCAI), a member Science Teachers Association of Nigeria, (MSTAN). A member Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria with Registration No: TS(01419).
She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Science Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
