I am a Nigerian academic and researcher with specialization in solid-state physics, nanotechnology, and semiconductor materials. Currently, I serve as Lecturer I in the Department of Physics and Industrial Physics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. My educational background is as follows: Ph.D. in Physics and Industrial Physics (Solid State Physics Option): Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (October 2019), M.Sc. in Physics and Industrial Physics (Solid State Physics Option): Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (August 2012) and B.Sc. in Pure Physics: Delta State University, Abraka (December 2007). I have earlier served on a part-time basis as Physics Tutor in the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), Nnamdi Azikiwe University (November 2018 – August 2020) before joining the services of Nnamdi Azikiwe University as a full-time lecturer. With Respect to administrative roles, I have served as the Departmental Board Secretary (2021 to date), Coordinator for multiple courses (PHY 402, PHY 409, PHY 101), Coordinator of Physics and Mathematics (JUPEB unit, May 2023 – January, 2025), Co-ordinator of Physics (Prescience Unit, February 2023 – February, 2025) and a member of various committees, including the Covid-19 Monitoring Committee and NUC accreditation self-study committee. My research focuses on Solid State Physics, with a particular emphasis on Nanotechnology and Thin Films (Structural, optical, and morphological properties of semiconductor thin films), Perovskite Solar Cells (Research into enhancing the stability and performance of low-cost perovskite solar cells) and Spintronics (Development of magnetic semiconductor materials for electronics). I have over twenty-five (25) well-researched published journal articles and about two chapters published in reputable books published by Springer Nature. I am actively engaged in teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am a collaborator on a recently completed grant sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) on the "Development of Locally Sourced Dilute Magnetic Semiconductor Spintronic Materials for Mobile Phone and Computer Memories" (awarded in December 2022).
