Dr Toluwani Taiwo David is a lecturer in Visual Communication Design, Animation, and Advertising Design at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. He is a distinguished graduate of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a PhD from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He is a recipient of the British Council Creative Enterprise Scholarship and serves as an active consultant within the design industry.
Toluwani is professionally affiliated with the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and is an associate member of the African Academic Network (AAN), the Arts Council of the African Studies Association (ACASA), and the International Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship (GAIMF). He is a dedicated researcher and conference speaker in the fields of arts and visual communication design studies.
As a specialist in contemporary visual communication design and digital media coaching, Toluwani has participated in numerous design and visual arts exhibitions across Nigeria. He has also trained and mentored many emerging creatives who have successfully graduated into the design industry.
