Adaora Chigozie Obuezie is a seasoned librarian and an accomplished Lecturer. She holds her Doctor of philosophy, Masters and Bachelor degree in Library and Information Science. Adaora is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN) by Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), a member of Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and Nigerian Association of Library and Information Science Educators (NALISE). She has passion for Information technology and knowledge sharing. she inspires and train students in the field of Librarianship. Adaora specializes in knowledge organization, information technology, Data science, graphic design, information literacy, electronic resource management, health information management, social media and information networking, critical thinking and research. She is well published in local and international level and has presented papers at local and international conferences. Adaora has benefited from so many conference, workshops and CPD grants to mention but a few are the prestigious Carnegie professional development grant in University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2016, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), Academic and Research Libraries Section conference grant (WLIC) in Malaysia, 2018 and Wikipedia + Libraries conference grant in Ireland, 2022 among others. She embraces collaboration, critical thinking, team work and practical applications as her approach of impacting knowledge. She is recognized for her skills in ICT related areas, blended teaching and learning as well as her passion in mentoring and preparing students for life after graduation.
