Staff Profile
I am a hydrology and climate scientist with research interests in investigating climate impacts on water resources and land ecosystems. This motivation is hinged on my conviction that research can help reduce these impacts, especially for vulnerable groups. Thus, my research investigates climate extremes and variabilities such as rainfall, water balance analysis, lake morphometric and bathymetric changes, changes in LULC, and carbon storage. In addition, I combine skills and tools such as spatial analysis using ArcGIS and QGIS, data science in R programming, and IBM SPSS, to study climate interaction with land and water resources.
