Kosy Añulika Okafor(PhD), is a Lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Her scholarship focuses on costume and makeup design, costume historiography, cultural identity and reclamation, gender and performance, migration, and contemporary African screen cultures. Her research interrogates costume as a material, embodied, and performative medium through which identity, history, power, and cultural memory are constructed and negotiated. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that connect theatre, film, gender studies, migration studies, and visual culture.
