I am Dr Ushie, Simon Nkpeh, a male who hails from from Nyanya Idigwe in Bekwarra LGA of Cross River State. I am married and a Holder of B.Sc and an MBBCH degrees from the prestigious University of Calabar, an M.Sc in Medical Microbiology from The University of Lagos, the University of first Choice and I am a Fellow of The West African College of Physician [FWACP] in Laboratory Medicine with specialization in Medical Microbiology/Parasitology and Infection prevention and Control. I have had several trainings in my field of specialization both as a Resident Dr at The University of Calabar Teaching Hospital and at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital spanning for over eight years. I am currently lecturing and researching in the department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nnewi Campus since 2019 till date. I have over twenty research publications peer reviewed Journals both locally and internationally and currently researching on " The molecular characterization and species distribution of Human pappiloma Virus in cervical cancer patients in South Eastern Nigeria"
