My name is Dr Stanley Kenechukwu Onah, though in social circles I often prefer to be referred to as #onahstan. I am from Ibagwa-Aka town in Enugu State, South East Nigeria. I did my primary school in my hometown, and my secondary school partly within my locality, and partly in Ebonyi; a neighbouring State within the same South East Nigeria.
My university education was at University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) where I got my degree in Medicine and Surgery in record time. Following my compulsory national youth service programme which I did at Oyo State, South West Nigeria, I proceeded for my residency programme in paediatrics faculty at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital. After nearly 6 years of the programme, I got a Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians in Paediatrics faculty in 2011. Within 6months of my success, I was appointed a consultant paediatrician within my training institution posted in Children Emergency Unit. In 2019, I was then appointed as a senior lecturer in Paediatrics department of CHS, NAU. Following that, I then become an honorary consultant with NAUTH.
