Dr. Godspower Ifeanyi AKAWUKU is a Software Engineer, Tech. Consultant and a lecturer for about 2 decades. On dual appointment in Computer Science and Software Engineering department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Currently President of Young Professionals Forum(YPF), Anambra State 2, Nigeria.
As a Software Engineer he has designed, developed and implemented various softwares ranging from Business Apps, Academic Apps, and Enterprises App. Power as fondly called, has consulted for Nigeria Defense Academic (NDA), Union Bank Plc, Private and Federal Universities across the country.
As an Academic he has taught in various institutions from College of Education, to Polytechnics, to Universities where he taught Mathematics and Computing. He has been Academic Adviser, SIWES Coordinator, Deputy Director of Open and Distance Learning Programme of Nnamdi Azikiwe University and current Postgraduate Coordinator of Department of Computer Science. Power has supervised many undergraduate students over the years and is supervising many Postgraduate students. He has published and presented various academic articles in local and international journals and conferences respectively. He is currently working on leveraging Data Analytics and Machine Learning in Datacenter Ecosystems to optimize network performance and security. He is the initiator of Software Engineering Consortium (SEC) committed to developing and empowering young aspiring professionals all over sub-Saharan Africa, with special attention to Nigeria. Powers’ mentees cut across medical doctors, Data Analysts, Database Administrators, Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Accountants and Barristers etc.
He is equally a resource person to many Professional bodies from ICAN, CIBN, ANAN etc. A member of various professional Bodies; Computer Professional registration council of Nigeria(CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Nigeria Institute of Management chattered (NIM). Godspower Ifeanyi AKAWUKU has Bachelor degree, Master degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science (specializing in Data Communication and Network), from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Bro. Godspower Ifeanyi AKAWUKU is an Associate Coordinator in DLCF on CAMPUS and a member of FULL GOSPEL BUSINESSMEN FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL (Diamond Chapter), he is married with children.
