Dr. Chidiogo Jane Okpala (nee Akaolisa)is a Nigerian, from the Igbo speaking part, a doctorate degree holder in development economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. She has interest in Development Economics (Macroeconomics aspect). She loves to read, sing and cook. She has worked in various capacities as a Teacher, researcher, research team member, financial Secretary, Business Manager, Program Developer and a Supervisor with UNICEF Immunization team. She has also held various positions at various times in different groups that she has belonged to. One time Treasurer/ Financial Secretary, one time Youth Leader and at another time Young Lady’s Leader among other positions. Presently she works at Nnamdi Azikiwe University and is also part of a research team at Adullam Development Research Centre (ADRC) in Nigeria. She speaks her native language- Igbo and also English language. She believes in contributing her best in any team she finds herself with sincerity, in gaining new knowledge and in imparting people around her with same, influencing people positively and being a role model especially to the younger generation. She is also an advocate for consistent personal development.
