Dr. Reginald Uzoechi is a dedicated law teacher in the Department of Clinical Legal Education , Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is also the Chief Legal Officer of the University and saddled with the responsibility of leading and supervising the Directorate of Legal Services of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, which directorate which advises the university management on public policy issues, employment/labour matters, staff and student discipline, statutory compliance! handles dispute resolution, legal documentation; and represents the University in lawsuits and legal matters. Dr. Uzoechi hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree of the University of Benin, Benin City, a Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law degrees of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in February 2012. Dr. Uzoechi is a committed legal practitioner who was a Senior Associate at IKWUETO Law Firm, but present the Principal Partner, REGALEX - a full-service law firm. Dr. Uzoechi is an astute researcher and an advocate of employees' rights. He is well published in reputable peer review journals and his research interests are in the areas of criminal law and criminology; recovery of proceeds of crime; economic and financial crimes law; and labour law and employment relationship. Reginald is former Judge's Research Assistant at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, where he garnered practical experience in Labour Law and Employment Relationship. Reginald is a husband and a full time father.
