Staff Profile

I am Lecturer of Paediatrics with special interest in Neonatology and Paediatric Infectious Diseases (particularly paediatric HIV, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV [PMTCT] and Childhood tuberculosis). I am a fellow of the West African College of Physians and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Paediatrics Faculty

I am currently the Focal Person for Paediatric HIV in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi and Anambra State. I have diligently contributed towards improving the outcomes of children infected or affected by HIV through researches, clinical services, and building the capacity of resident doctors, medical officers and other cadre of health care workers on Paediatric HIV management. 

I am passionate about conducting researches on HIV and PMTCT, and have many publications in international and local journals on neonatology, Paediatric HIV, PMTCT, and related fields.
