Somtochukwu Ojukwu studied law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and following his completion of law school programme,  he was called to the Nigerian bar in 2012. Somto proceeded to University of Lagos where he obtained an LLM degree. Since his admission to the Nigerian bar, Somto has been in active legal practice and has acquired experience with bias for Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law, Technology Law and Communication Law. 

In March 2019, Somto joined the Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka as a lecturer and has many publication on many academic and noon-academic reputable platforms
