Geraldine Ejiaka Nzeribe is a Christian and a lecturer in the department of Economics, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. She obtained BSc in Economics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria, M.Sc and PhD in Development /International Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. She is married with children. She has also obtained several academic certificates and worked in different capacities in several institutions; She retired voluntarily as a Head of Budget, Planning, Research, and Statistics in the Anambra State Local Government Service in 2017, before joining Nnamdi Azikiwe University as a permanent staff in 2017. Geraldine is interested in lecturing and research and specializes in Development issues, Poverty issues, Gender issues, and Health issues. She has published several articles in this area in local and international journals. She has attended several conferences at local and international levels. She reviews papers for both local and international journals some of which are the Journal for African Development, and the Journal of Globalization. She is a member of several reputable organizations such as the International Federation of University Women of Africa (IFUWA), the International Association of Female Academic Doctors (IAFAD), and the Nigeria Economics Society (NES).
