Paschal Oshen Odey hails from Ugboro in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State. He is a staff member of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, and a lecturer in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife, Faculty of Agriculture.
He holds a Bachelor of Forestry and Wildlife (B.For) from the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), obtained in 2012, an M.Sc. in Forest Biometrics from the University of Calabar, earned in 2018, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Forest Biometrics at the University of Calabar.
Paschal Oshen Odey is a member of the Forestry Association of Nigeria (FAN), the International Society for Tropical Foresters, Nigeria Chapter (ISTFN), Commonwealth Forestry Association, Nigeria Chapter (CFA) and the Biodiversity Conservation Monitor at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (MBRCM).
He is married to Mrs. Odey Adin Oshen, and their union is blessed with three children: Miss Emmanuella Aye OSHEN; Miss catherine Irepia OSHEN and Master Paschal Oshen OSHEN.
