Dr. Ngozi .E. Makata, Ph.D., RN, FWAPCNM, is a Reader at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra, Nigeria. She is the Coordinator of Nursing Education courses and programmes in her department. Her areas of specialty are Nursing Education and Public Health. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing, from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Dr. Ngozi Makata also holds an MBA in Business Management, a Masters degree in Public Health, M.Sc. in Nursing Education, and Ph.D. in Public Health Education. Her research focuses on Evidence-Based Nursing education and practice, Nursing Education methodologies, Public Health issues in communities, health education interventions, Adolescents' and women's reproductive health issues, and Health care resource management in low-resource settings. She has co-authored over forty articles in various fields of specialties published in peer-reviewed journals. She is a reviewer of some peer review journals. She also coauthored chapters in these books Leadership and Management for Health Workers: Concepts, Theories and Practices and Resarch Methods for University Scholars. Dr. Ngozi Makata is involved in the teaching and supervision of both undergraduate and Post-Graduate students.
