Peter Oyewole Makinde is a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He teaches Elementary Yoruba to 1st Year students, Stylistics Analysis to 3rd Year, as well as Issues in Multilingualism and Dialectology to Final Year students. His areas of specialization among others include Stylistics, Social Semiotics, Multimodality and General Linguistics. Peter Makinde is also a Doctoral Student at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa working on Dissertation that focuses on Social semiotics and multimodality.
