I have over 10 years of combined experience in the IT Industry with a special focus on software development using PHP/MySQL, API Development, DevOps & Cloud Computing. Over the years, I have acquired different skills which have helped me in my career, including working with AWS, Python, Go, Linux, Docker, CircleCI, etc. I have engineered and developed many systems, including an ERP called CIRMS (Central Information Referencing and Management System), currently used by Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in Nigeria, as their daily administrative software. This system enabled for the first time the digital appraisal of staff in the university in 2021 using the Electronic Appraisal module, which feeds off from it. This shortened the time required for the process by 70% and reduced errors and omissions by 95%. I also developed the Central Payment Portal, which integrates with every internal payment platform as middleware. The system offers deep reports and analyses of income and expenses, increasing the efficiency of the bursary team by over 50%. As a Senior Software Engineer, I head the Software Department at the Directorate of Software Services at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. I worked on a few AWS projects, where I deployed a highly available application. I am open to learning new skills and playing a significant role in solving real-world biggest challenges.
