As a Reader/Associate Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of this great institution,my reaserch interests include prediction and prevention of preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, management of diabetes in Pregnancy, Infectious diseases in pregnancy, Prenatal health including use of ultrasound in diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the foetus in utero . I am passionate about researches on interventions that will be effective in reduction of maternal mortality with adaptation of international best practice to suit local needs. Currently, I am a member of the editorial board of PLosone , Deputy Editor Tropical Journal of Medical Research and former Editor/founding Editor-in-Chief of Afrimedic journal. I also review manuscripts for many internationl and local journals.
My passion also include quality medical education and currently an examiner, National Postgraduate College of Nigeria and previously external examiner to Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu Univeristy, Imo State University and Madonna Univeristy.
