I am an Hematologist by qualification, I teach and mentor undergraduate medical students at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and also do clinical research. I am equally a clinician with the teaching hospital affiliated to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital), where I work as Honorary Consultant Hematologist. My research interests are Red cell hematology, particularly hemoglobinopathies and blood transfusion safety. I have a passion for good clinical practice and quality medical education, all geared towards improving medical care and raising future leaders in the Nigerian health care space.
