Staff Profile

 I studied Food and Industrial Microbiology at the Federal University of Technology, Akure Ondo State in Nigeria, which I graduated, with a Second Class Upper Bachelor in Technology (Hons). In order to enhance further my knowledge, I proceeded for Master programme in Food Microbiology at the same University, which ends in the year 2011. I started my Ph.D. programme in 2012 at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State with area of specialization in Food Microbiology.

My area of research was on Evaluation of wound-healing potentials of probiotics isolated from laboratory-produced 'Kunun-zaki' on streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats. 

Having learned about Food Microbiology, which introduced me to the Food processing, Post-Harvest losses, Food storage, Food fermentation, Food borne illness, Food safety and Quality control.
