Idara C. Aniefiok-Ezemonye is a Lecturer I in the Department of History and International Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. She is a scholar and a history researcher whose interest encompasses continuity and change in cultural history,urban history, social history and the socio-cultural dynamics of the Nigeria-Biafra War among the minorities of the Eastern Region. She has successfully defended her PhD Dissertation and awarded a doctorate in History at the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. Her PhD Dissertation bothered on the impacts of the Nigerian Civil War on the Ibibio People from 1967-1970. She has her MA in Social and Political History and BA in History and International Studies respectively from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She has been a member and secretary of various Departmental and Faculty Committees.
