Dr Festus Chibuike Onuegbu is a lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. He holds M.A in Diplomatic History and PhD in International Studies. His areas of teaching and research interest include: African International Relations, African Affairs and Contemporary African History, International Political Economy, and African Development Issues. He has written and published a number of works in reputable international and local outlets. His publications include: journal articles, chapters in books, edited books, and conference papers. Dr Onuegbu, currently, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is a member of a number of academic and professional bodies which include: Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN), Nigerian Society of International Affairs (NSIA), and Society for Research and Academic Excellence (SREA) University of Nigeria Nsukka.
