Dr Festus Chibuike Onuegbu is a lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. He holds B.A. History and International Studies, M.A. Diplomatic History, and Ph.D. International Studies. He specialized in African Affairs, International Studies and Diplomacy. His areas of teaching and research interest include: Africa in Global Affairs, Global Security and War Crimes, Migration and Diaspora, Global Economy, Development Issues and World Order, Geopolitics in International Relations, Regional and Comparative Studies, and Contemporary History of Africa. He has written and published a number of works in reputable international and local outlets. His publications include: journal articles, chapters in books, edited books, and conference papers. Dr Onuegbu, currently, is an Associate Professor in the Department of History and International Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is a member of academic and professional bodies such as: Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN), Nigerian Society of International Affairs (NSIA), and Society for Research and Academic Excellence (SREA) University of Nigeria Nsukka.
