Engr. Dr. Chinomso Macanthony Ewulonu
is a Lecturer at the Department of Polymer and Textile Engineering, Nnamdi
Azikiwe University, Awka and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical
Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. His research
is focused on developing sustainable alternative sources to conventional raw
materials where he has reported the synthesis of core-shell pigment utilization
in alkyd paints, effects of different natural fillers in numerous polymer
systems and how various fluids are transported through polymeric films and
composites in several peer-reviewed research papers in SCI journals. He is presently working on valorisation of lignocellulose biomass
for application in packaging, membrane technology, supercapacitors, and 3D printing
materials.
Dr. Ewulonu
is a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered
Polymer Engineer and a 2-time recipient of the prestigious Chinese Academy of
Sciences (CAS) President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) grant. He
has also been principal investigator and co-investigator in several Nigeria
Tertiary Education Trust Fund funded research projects.
