Dr. Christopher Ulua Kalu, is a Reader/Associate Professor of Development Economics with bias in Development Macroeconomics and Finance. He is the immediate Head of Economics Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and a current Deputy Director 11 of UNIZIK Business School of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is an adjunct Resource Person at the Central Bank of Nigeria Centre for Economics and Finance, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. He has reviewed for several peer Journals including the CBN Journal of Applied Statistics(CBN-JAS). He has authored several peer reviewed journal articles, Books, Book Chapters, Technical Papers and has presented economics based papers nationally and internationally. He has been in the past, Chief- Editor of the Social Science Research, the flagship journal of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Journal of Economic Studies, Department of Economics, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Presently, the President, Nigerian Economic Society on recommendations appointed him as the Coordinator of NES HoDs Forum, a forum of all Heads of Economics Deprtment in Nigerian tertiary institutions. He was also appointed a Member of the Central Working Committee of NES 2024 Annual Conference. He has supervised Masters and PhD students in the Department of Economics, UNIZIK, ESUT BUSINESS School and UNIZIK Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka
