Williams Emeka Obiozor, is a professor of adult learning and special education; a United States Congressional Youth Leadership Awardee IN 2006, community activist, creative writer, Career mentor and founding editor-in-chief of the African Journal of Teacher Education (AJOTE) published in Canada; International Journal of Education, Science and Public Policy in Africa (IJESPPA), among others. Obiozor is widely traveled and was formerly an assistant professor of Special education at the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious University of Pittsburgh, PA-USA; Wilmington University, Georgetown-Delaware; University of Nigeria, and St. Teresa's College Nsukka. He was a former Assistant Director, Frederick Douglass Institute of Academic Excellence at Bloomsburg University; former Deputy Director, International programs at Nnamdi Azikiwe University-Awka; founder and former Director, Centre for Disability and Special Needs Research (CENDASNER 2019-2025) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka-Nigeria. He taught at American Public Schools System for 5 years; and 8 years in the Higher education settings before returning to Nigeria. From 2018-2020 he served as Rector, NationBuilders Polytecnic, Asaba, Delta State. Obiozor's 10 years anniversary of professorship was marked with a just concluded sabbatical and fellowship programme at CICA-University and Seminary in Orlando, Florida, USA. He recently wrote, edited and published 3 international books on Artificial Intelligence and Education; among over 70 journal articles, papers and books locally and overseas. In 2022 he attracted an international grant from Afrexim bank, Cairo-Egypt, for his Centre for Disabilities (CENDASNER) While in 2023, JAMB recognized his CENTRE and Nnamdi Azikiwe University with a Gold Award of Excellence, as the Best University in Nigeria that provides access to higher education to students with disabilities. He is the producer, Onestreet Radio $how; chief consultant, Onestreet Consulting and loves playing tennis.
