Dr. Emmanuel Chidubem Asiegbu hails from Aguluezechukwu, in Aguata LGA of Anambra State, Nigeria. He is currently a Reader in Department of Educational Management and Policy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. He has been teaching in the University over 13 years, since 2010 to date, and has successfully supervised over 100 undergraduate projects, 20 Postgraduate diploma Projects, 3 Masters thesis and currently supervising 14 Masters student’s Thesis (2 are in the completing stage).
He has about 25 international publications and 12 national publications to his credit, with some book chapters. His researchpublications centers on; gender issues in schools, conflict resolution practices, Entrepreneurship Education, quality assurance and private sector participation in school management. His area of specialization is; Economics of Education, Education Finance, Educational Planning and Educational Management and Policy.
Administratively, he has served as Secretary and Coordinator, Teaching Practice Exercise and currently the Investment Secretary, ASUU-NAU Chapter, Investment officer, ASUU-NAU Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Editor-in-Chief of UNIZIK Journal of Educational Management and Policy (UJOEMP), Deputy Director Certificate and Diploma Programme, Senate Rep Faculty of Education as well as the Faculty of Education ICT Officer since 2015 to date. He is a consultant to TSO consulting and a Facilitator for Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Emmanuel Asiegbu is a Christian (Catholic), happily married and blessed with 3 Godly children.
