Staff Profile

Dr. Emma Ezenwaji (Reader) is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Meteorology, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he obtained his BSC, MSc and PhD. He specialises in Water Resources Management with special emphasis on Urban and Rural water modelling. He teaches hydrology, Water Resources and Quantitative Methods in Geography amongst other courses. In October, 2019, he was appointed the director of National Water Resources Capacity Building Network - Southeast and Climate Change Centre, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is a WASH specialist who has delivered over 40 papers on WASH. Amongst them, 10 of these papers at WEDC International Conferences twice in Lough-borough, twice in Nakuru - Kenya, Kumasi-Ghana, South Korea, South Africa and Abuja, Nigeria. Recently, he was made the Chairman of the curriculum committee set up by NWRI, Kaduna under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources to prepare BSc, PGD, MSc and PhD curricula for Nigerian Universities.
