My name is Professor Prosper Obunikem Adogu. I work in the department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nnewi campus. I was born in February 12, 1963 in Onitsha Anambra State. I hail from Aguluzigbo, Anaocha LGA, Anambra state, Nigeria. I am married with children.

My duties are summarized and include teaching of medical students; Training of resident doctors; Training of postgraduate students for award of Masters in Public Health; Supervision of research projects for Medical students, Resident doctors, MPH students and other postgraduate students in the allied departments; Active and regular involvement in scientific research; Regular attendance to conferences; Active member of NHREC-certified Ethics Review Board, NAUTH Nnewi, Nigeria, participating in regular review of research proposals from different parts of the country and world; Focal Person, Monitoring and Evaluation thematic unit, and twice HOD and PHC Coordinator, department of Community Medicine NAU/NAUTH and operating from Neni outpost in the hub-spoke arrangement of comprehensive medical care; Weekly conduct of ward rounds, teaching and business rounds.
