BRIEF PERSONAL PROFILE OF DR (MRS.) CLEMENTINA UKAMAKA NWANKWO {R.N, R.M, RNE, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., FWACN, M.Sc. MNH (UoN, UK)} Dr Clementina Nwankwo is the 7th child out of eight of her parents, Chief and Mrs Daniel Okeke of the blessed memory from Osumenyi town in Nnewi South L.G.A. of Anambra State. She started her primary education at Woliwo 11 Primary School, Onitsha, Anambra State and later attended Girls’ High School, Osumenyi, Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State. She did her Nursing training at Anambra State School of Nursing, Nkpor and obtained her Midwifery training from School of Midwifery, Holy Rosary Maternity Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha. She later proceeded to the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu Campus (UNEC) for her Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (B.Sc.) in Nursing and graduated in 2004. She proceeded for her masters’ degree in Health Education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and graduated in 2010. She started her doctorate degree in Public Health Education and graduated in 2015. She is a Fellow of West African College of Nursing (FWACN), State Facilitator for Anambra Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme (MCPDP, 2013 - 2016), and a member of Special Marshal & Partnership, Awka Sector 2011 till date. Her steady quest for knowledge influenced her desire for another masters’ degree. Thus she had masters’ degree in Maternal and Newborn Health from the Division of Midwifery, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2018. She has over 38 published articles both nationally and internationally, and authored 2 text books – Divorce: its impact on family members and Introduction to reproductive health. Dr Clementina has worked at general hospitals – Ichi and Nnobi as staff nurse/midwife before proceeding for her degrees. She taught at Anambra State School of Midwifery, Nkpor as a Nurse Educator between 2005 and 2008. She is currently a Reader and immediate past HOD,Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Health Sciences and Technology, College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus. Dr C. U. Nwankwo is presently the South East Zonal Coordinator 1 (Abia, Anambra & Imo States) for NMCN Mandatory Continuing Professional Programme (MCPDP) with effect from January 2023 to Dec, 2025 (3 years). She is happily married to her heartthrob - Mr Nnaemeka Nwankwo from Ekwulumili town in Nnewi South L.G.A of Anambra State and they are blessed with four children. 5/6/2023
