Dr. Nwajinka, Charles Obiora is currently a Reader in the department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He attended the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained a Bachelor and Master of Engineering (B.Eng & M.Eng) degrees in Agricultural Engineering in 1984 and 1992 respectively. In 2005 he obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. In 2014 he completed and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food and Bioprocess Engineering by Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is member of Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), Nigerian Society of engineers (NSE), American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and is a COREN-Registered Engineer. He has served as the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. He has carried out a good number of researches published in national and international journals, some of which were sponsored by Research Project Intervention grants. His areas of research interest is Food and Bioprocess Engineering and solar energy in agriculture.
