Uche. F. Onwuasoanya is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Microbiologist. She has special interest in Medical Microbiology/Immunology and other infectious diseases. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Microbiology. She later bagged an Associate in Medical Laboratory Science both in Nnamdi Azikiwe University . She went further and got Master of Science in Immunology from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma Edo State. She is currently running her Doctor of philosophy programme.
Uche Onwuasoanya has published more than 15 articles in both Local and International journals.
She has served the institution in several capacities including; Head/coordinator, Laboratory Unit and Posting for students of Medical Laboratory Science department. She was once a welfare officer in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Technology. She is also a member of Academic societies like; Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN), American Society for Microbiology (ASM) etc.
