I am Thecla Udemmadu (nee Obiora) from Agulu in Anaocha L.G.A, born on the 23rd of March, 1972. I attended Primary education at Onitsha, Secondary education at Akwaeze. My First degree in BA(Ed) Igbo/Linguistics. My MA lgbo and PhD Igbo were from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. I joined Unizik in 2006 in the department of Igbo, African and Asian Studies. Currently, l am a Professor of Igbo Language and Linguistics. My research interest areas are: Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis.
