Professor of Neurosurgery.
Major Sub-Specialty Bias is Neurotrauma, Critical Care and Paediatric Neurosurgery.
Aside my medical degree and specialist degrees I hold a Master of Public Administration degree in Human Resources Management.
I founded the Neurosurgery Services and training in UNIZIK and NAUTH the teaching hospital and created the training, service and curriculum of Neurosurgery.
I am a researcher, and founder of the Centre for Neurotrauma and Neurosciences Research in UNIZIK.
I have been the President of the body of Neurosurgeons in Nigeria [Nigerian Academy of Neurological Surgeons 2021-2023] and President of the umbrella body of all Neuroscientists in Nigeria, including Neurosurgeons [Nigerian Society of Neurological Sciences 2017-2020].
I was Head of Accident and Emergency, Head of Anaesthesiology and Head of Surgery [2006 -2018]
I was the Director of Open Spaces and Space Allocations in UNIZIK.
I am the current Director of Centre for Neurotrauma and Neurosciences Research UNIZIK.
I was Deputy University Orator and currently, the Orator of College of Health Sciences.
I was the Pioneer & Founding of the College of Health Sciences Weekly News Bulletin - the College Voice.
I was Editor on Orient Journal of Medicine, current Editor-in-Chief of Orient Journal of Medicine, Founding Editor of the Journal of Clinical and Applied Neurosciences and Founding Editor of Archives of Neurosurgery in Africa.
