Prof. Maduabuchi Frank Dukor is a distinguished Nigerian Professor of Philosophy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Nigeria, and a prominent voice in contemporary African thought. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan, followed by a Master of Science from the University of Lagos, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Over his expansive career, he has made significant administrative contributions to Nigerian academia, notably serving as the Founding Head of the Department of Philosophy at Lagos State University (LASU) and later working as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Ghana, Legon. As a researcher, Prof. Dukor focuses primarily on African Philosophy, Logic, and Socio-Political Philosophy. He is widely recognized for formulating the influential concept of "Theistic Humanism" in African philosophy. An exceptionally prolific writer, he has authored numerous books, including Theistic Humanism of African Philosophy, African Philosophy in the Global Village, and Symbolic and Philosophical Logic. Additionally, he served as the General Editor for the landmark Dictionary of African Philosophy (DAF). His dedication to academic mentorship is reflected in his supervision and examination of over 50 Ph.D. candidates across multiple global institutions, cementing his legacy as a pillar of modern African academic philosophy
