PROFILE OF PROFESSOR RAPHAEL NNAJIOFOR OKIGBO Raphael Nnajiofor Okigbo is a Professor of 16 years in the Department of Botany, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He was a two time Head of Department, a SubDean and Acting Dean of Faculty of Biosciences.He has B. Sc. Botany (1984), M. Sc. Botany (1988), M. Sc. Microbiology (1992) and Ph. D. Microbiology (1995) all from the University of Benin. He has supervised 5 Ph. D and 21 M. Sc. dissertations and served as External Examiner to many Universities locally and internationally. He is Editorial member of many International and local journals. He delivered the 33rd Inaugural. Has H index of 31, with 3,918 citations in 2024.
