Bentina Alawari Mathias is a Professor at the Department of Sociology/Anthropology Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in Anambra State Nigeria and a Fellow of Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners Association (FNASA). She is an accomplished scholar and researcher. She had published widely in both national and international journals. She teach, grades and supervises graduate and undergraduate students at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and Paul University, Awka as well as an external Examiner at the PhD level at La Trobe University Bundoora Victoria 3086, Australia. Her area of specialization is Institutional Analysis with research interest in Gender Studies, Health Sociology, Migration Studies and Conflict Studies.
