Staff Profile

Prof Ephraim obtained his Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from University of Port Harcourt, Master of Arts in 1998 and Doctor of Philosophy in 2005 from University of Nigeria , Nsukka. His area of specialization is formal English language studies : Phonetics/Phonology , Morphology , Syntax/Grammer/Structure, Semantics , and applied English fields as Stylistics, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, etc .He was employed by Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka to teach English in the Department of English Language and Literature. He had worked as the Head of Department 2013/2014,departmental PG Coordinator, member of departmental and faculty PG committees, university CCMAS committee. He is now a Member of Nigerian Academy of Letters (MNAL). His teaching in the department has produced scholars of national and international repute, among whom are over thirty doctoral degree, many master of arts and first degree holders.
