Esomonu Nkechi Patricia-Mary is a Professor of Educational Evaluation, Research and Statistics with background in Science Education (Biology), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She obtained her first degree from University of Lagos, B.Sc. Hon (Education/ Biology), Master’s Degree from University of Nigeria, Nsukka (Science Education) and Doctoral Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, AWka, where she did masters and PhD courses in Educational Evaluation. She teaches courses and supervises students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Prof. Esomonu is a Fellow of Science Teachers’ Association of Nigeria (FSTAN), a member of Nigeria Academy of Education, a member of the International Association for Educational Assessment (iaea). She is also a member of Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN) among others. Prof Esomonu is a member of the 7th NAU Governing Council, Director of Affiliate Institutions (2019, 2021-2023). Dean, Faculty of Education (2016-2019), Associate Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies (2014-2016) and HOD, Department of Educational Foundations (2008, 2009-2011 & 2014-2015).
