Dr.Chitom Racheal John-Akamelu is a senior lecturer in Accountancy Department,Faculty of Management Sciences
in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. She was converted as a lecturer in 2014 and was first posted to Entrepreneurship Department. She was redeployed to Accountancy Department 2020. Dr. Chitom John-Akamelu is the current Head of Department (HOD) Accountancy which took effect from January 16th 2021. She is the first woman of Anambra State origin to acquire Ph.D in Taxation.
