Professor Comfort Nne Akujobi is a Professor/Consultant Clinical Microbiologist in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus.
She obtained her MBBCh from University of Calabar, M.Sc in Medical Microbiology from University of Lagos and is a Fellow of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
She has published 46 journal Articles in peer reviewed Journals and still counting.
Her research interest is in Antimicrobial resistance.
She has presented papers in both National and International conference, successively completed supervision of twelve (12) M.Sc. candidates, 8 Fellows in both Postgraduate Medical colleges, and presently supervising ten (10) M.Sc students and two (2) Pre-fellowship candidates.
She is a reviewer for 9 journals including Nigerian Journal of Clinical Practice, National Postgraduate Medical Journal, Annals of Tropical Pathology etc. External examiner in Pathology for several Medical schools across the country as well as examiner for the National Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria, Faculty of Pathology; Member, court of examiners, Faculty of Pathology, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.2018 till date
