Dr. Okenwa Cyprian Ogbodo, CNA is an Associate Professor of the Department of Accountancy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka where he started his teaching carrier in 2004. Prior to his engagement as a Lecturer, Dr. Okenwa Ogbodo was an accomplished banker, haven worked with the defunct Co-operative and Commerce Bank Nigeria Plc where he rose to the rank of an assistant manager. The experience he garnered in the bank then, prepared him to imbibe the virtues of integrity, hard work, honesty, and commitment to duty which he cherished so much. He has to his credit, widely acceptable textbooks in different portfolios of accounting. In addition, Dr. Ogbodo has numerous published articles in different local, national, and International Journals. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Accounting (JOGA) and currently serving as Editor and Editorial Board member of other Journals. He has rich administrative experience as one-time associate Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, and presently the Head of the Department of Accountancy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, among other appointments. Dr. Okenwa Ogbodo is an active member of a number of accounting professional bodies which include: Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), The Academy of Management Nigeria, National Association of Accountants (NAA), etc. He is External Examiner to a number of Universities in Nigeria.
